    Junior Jack Wright wants to be a leader. So he’s studying the topic. 

    For two years in a row, Jack has taken a leadership class taught by Crusader football coach Ott Hurrle and defensive coordinator Brad Purcell, who also are teachers. The past two winters, Jack has returned to Scecina on six Sunday evenings to absorb the coaches’ lessons on leadership.

  • Scecina senior flies high with lead role in 'Mary Poppins'

    Lauren Gray starred in the lead role of “Annie” when the musical was performed at Footlite Musicals in Downtown Indianapolis. She was just 11 and a fourth-grade student at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.

    “This opportunity has given me strength in being more social and taking the lead,” says sophomore Hollie Harper, of Little Flower Catholic parish, speaking of her role as a Student Ambassador at Scecina.
