• Reception for World’s Largest Paper Sculpture

    A work of art, a 3D portrait of “Chaos” that may well become the world’s largest paper sculpture, is being created inside an Indianapolis high school.  

    Indianapolis artist Conrad Cortellini, a 1961 Scecina graduate and current artist-in-residence at Scecina Memorial High School, began the Feedback Fractal Project (Project) as a grand experiment based on new ideas, new imagery, and new approaches in art making.     Marion County Sheriff Kerry Forestal will be the next guest speaker at the Scecina Business Connection on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

    Sheriff Forestal grew up on Indianapolis’ Eastside. After graduating from Scecina Memorial High School in 1974, and studying Criminal Justice at Ball State University and IUPUI, he joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in 1977. He is a former U.S.Marshal. Read more...
