    Scecina graduate Betsy (Kinne) Smith '65 appears as "church and town gossip" in "Coat of Many Colors," which airs on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 10. She loved the experience but had to play in a "hateful" scene when her meddlesome character and others badger Mr. Parton.
