April Crusaders of the Month

Each month students are acknowledged for displaying one or more of the values of Scecina Memorial High School, vocation, servant leadership, stewardship, and excellence. These students are nominated by teachers and staff as the Crusaders of the Month. The April Crusaders of the Month are:

Christa Ewing
Nomination: Advancement Department 
Values Displayed: Vocation, Stewardship, Servant Leadership
Comments: Christa showed great leadership as a senior leader on the junior retreat. She always acts with kindness and grace and is a model example for other students.




Carly Ferree
Nomination: Health and Physical Education
Values Displayed: Excellence, Vocation, Servant Leadership, Stewardship
Comments: Carly always does her very best, she has a tremendous attitude, and is caring towards other students.

 

Carson Bouvier
Nomination: Foreign Language Department

Comments: Carson is a high achiever and a quiet leader in class. She is always on task, polite, and willing to help others.

Davion asked if there was anything he could do to help us prepare for the President's Academic Excellence Awards on April 25. Davion voluntarily spent about half an hour after school helping us carry, move, and set up for the event. His willing spirit and help were greatly appreciated.

Katelyn Hartman
Nomination: Catholic Theology Department
Values Displayed: Servant Leadership and Excellence
Comments: She exudes confidence, she is a smart, quite leader. Katelyn is a great person to be around and has respect of her peers. Katelyn represents Scecina well.



Eric Perez
Nomination: Foreign Language Department

Comments: Eric is always on task even when his peers around him are not. More importantly, he' s willing to use his strong math skills to help other students in ENL. He also has unique gifts in writing and drawing and he always puts forth his best effort!


Molly Griffin
Nomination: Social Studies Department

Comments: Molly is an amazing student who works very hard in AP world history. Molly excels in the class, putting in countless hours to achieve her high grades. She also has grown so much over the year in her writing skills. She sets a great example for the other students in our class. I am so proud of Molly!
