  • Scecina senior wins Mental Attitude Award at IHSAA tournament

    After the Crusaders won the state championship game, Scecina’s Rachel Cox was awarded the IHSAA’s Mental Attitude Award in Class 2A Softball.

    Rachel has earned All-Conference, All-City, and Academic All-Conference honors during her time as a member of the Crusaders softball program. Her teams won Indiana Crossroads Conference, City, Sectional, and Regional championships in each of her four seasons. Rachel was also a Crusader cheerleader.

  • Crusaders softball team moves on to Semi-State

    The Scecina Crusaders are headed to the Semi-State round of the IHSAA tournament. They won another Regional softball championship on Tuesday night with a 14-1 win over the South Vermillion Wildcats. 

    On Saturday, Scecina (23-4) will face the South Spencer Rebels (18-7) in the Class 2A Semi-State semifinals. The winner moves on the championship that night.

  • Crusaders softball team captures ICC, City titles

    The Scecina Crusaders softball team captured both the Indiana Crossroads Conference title and the City Championship this past week.

    The Crusaders won the City Championship with a 14-4, five-inning win over the Irish at Cathedral. 

    The Crusaders also went undefeated in the Indiana Crossroads Conference to win the conference title.
