CONGRATULATIONS SARAH RUMELY '06

Scecina alum and University of Kentucky junior Sarah Rumely was named the Southeastern Conference Volleyball Player of the Year.  Rumely is a setter and became the first SEC Player of the Year in Kentucky's history.  Also named the 2006 SEC Freshman of the Year, she became just the third Kentucky player to rack up over 4,000 assists for her career.  She has totaled 1,000 assists or more in each of her first three seasons at Kentucky.  Rumely also ranks among the SEC's leaders in hitting percentage and led the conference in aces in league play.
