Scecina began its Advanced Placement program in the early 2000s with AP Calculus and AP Literature. Today we offer 18 AP classes on a regular basis. Advanced Placement classes are courses set up by The College Board which reward the students with college credit for the class if the student earns a score of 3 or higher on the subject test. The AP classes are offered at no extra charge at Scecina, but there may be a charge to take the AP exam, depending on the class.
Results from last school year recently have been reported, and our students did quite well, with 18 receiving the award of AP Scholar or higher. .... Read More
