Crusader Volleyball Takes #2 to Four Games, Falls

The Crusader Girls' Volleyball Team battled bravely, but came up just a little short in the Sectional Final of the 2A State Volleyball tournament.

The girls advanced to the Saturday evening final with an exciting win over ICC conference rival, Park Tudor (22‐25, 25‐21, 25‐21, 18‐25, 15‐13). The Crusaders looked to carry that momentum to another impressive victory that night when they jumped out to an early lead versus the #2 ranked team in 2A, but unfortunately they fell in 4 games (21‐25, 25‐22, 25‐10, 25‐22).

Crusader Volleyball will return a number of experienced players next year; and if this year's results and effort are any indicator of next year's promise, 2014 is sure to be an exciting year for Crusader Volleyball.

Congratulations girls on a great season. Go Crusaders!

Yes, a perfectly fine alaenrttive is to perform rows with your resistance bands. Inverted rows just work your core and stabilizers muscles more.Note that you do not specifically need a TRX to perform inverted rows. If you have access to anything that you can lie under and row yourself up towards, that will work fine. For example, a common way to perform inverted rows in a health club is to setup a barbell about waist height in the squat rack, lie under it, and row yourself up towards the bar.
