“Montavia is a great kid, I wish I could have coached her all four years. I gave Monty the Father Tom Award because of her dedication to the team and leadership by action. She is a quiet leader but speaks loudly with her great attitude and willingness to listen to the coach and try to execute instructions given to her.” ~ Reggen Melson, Scecina Girls Varsity Basketball Coach
Montavia is the daughter of Francina Waller and Thomas Rowley III. She plans to attend Bethel College in the fall and major in early childhood education.
