New Choice Scholarship Rules Expand Opportunity

If you know a family that is interested in enrolling their child at Scecina Memorial High School and could benefit from the Choice Scholarship Program, please pass this information on to them.

In May, the Indiana State Legislature passed an expansion of the Choice Scholarship Program (voucher program). This legislation will enable many of our current Scecina families to now qualify their child for a scholarship (voucher). The tuition office staff has been working carefully and diligently to determine which students may now qualify for the program. You may have already been contacted by Mrs. Maureen Okerson about qualifying your child.

If you are not familiar with the program, please read about the newly developed seven pathways to become eligible for the program. If you believe that you may qualify and have not been contacted by Mrs. Okerson, please contact her as soon as possible at 356-6377 extension 1306, or by email at mokerson@scecina.org.

There are seven pathways that students can take to qualify to for the Choice Scholarship Program and to receive a voucher:
