Parents invited to Update and Input gathering on Jan. 31
Greetings, Scecina Community!
The wisdom of the Catholic Church teaches that parents are a student’s first and primary educators in the continual quest for faith, knowledge, understanding, and personal growth.
Since Scecina began as a school ministry more than 60 years ago, parental input and involvement have been the foundation for students’ growth and success. That tradition continues to this day, and we want to make it even stronger.
Therefore, the Scecina Parent Ambassador Team and administration are beginning an initiative to foster parental awareness and engagement. You recently received an e-mail invitation from Mr. Nick Petrone, Chair of the Parent Ambassador Team, to attend an Update and Input gathering with our principal, Dr. Brettnacher, and me from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, in the school cafeteria. We want to update you on important opportunities for our school and seek your feedback and input. Refreshments will be included.
One of the topics that we will discuss at this Update and Input gathering will be the future student technology environment at Scecina. Understanding your questions, hopes, needs, and even concerns is very important as we go forward.
I truly hope you will be able to attend this one-hour gathering on January 31 at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. If you are unable to attend and want to speak with Dr. Brettnacher or me, please contact us at your convenience.
I want to thank every parent of a Scecina student for choosing us as your partner in your child’s daily life journey. We appreciate this awesome privilege and responsibility. We want to do our best for you and with you.
