Placement Test Scholarships

With the start of the spring semester, the Scecina Office of Enrollment Management is shifting into high gear to assemble the class of 2019. With many future Crusaders already accepted, and new applications coming in everyday, next year’s freshman class promises to carry on the Scecina tradition of a diverse student body who desire a formative educational experience inspired by Father Thomas Scecina.

Each year, we receive applications for admission to Scecina from a wide variety of elementary and middle schools. These students represent some of the best and brightest from the eastside and surrounding areas. The Office of Enrollment Management is pleased to offer multiple scholarship opportunities to these students in recognition of their dedication to academic success.

On Tuesday, December 23, 2014 we were pleased to announce the first recipients of the Placement Test Scholarships. These awards are the first scholarships given out to the class of 2019, and are based solely on scores from the High School Placement Test. This year’s recipients, for the November and December tests, are:
Katelyn Hartman – Holy Spirit Catholic School
Julia Donlan – Holy Spirit Catholic School
Audrey Maue – Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic School
Christina Schroedle – St. Simon Catholic School

Congratulations to these outstanding young woman and their families! We look forward to the day you enter our doors to begin your high school journey! There is still the opportunity for Placement Test Scholarships to be awarded after the January 24th test date.
