Scecina's senior football players brighten Riley kids' day
Nine-year-old Julia was beating some of Scecina's senior football players in cornhole. That made Coach Ott Hurrle laugh.
"She's probably thinking that these guys aren't very athletic," said Hurrle in a video made by Riley Hospital for Children.
The senior players were spending the day at Riley, playing with children and touring the hospital. It was the third straight year that Hurrle and assistant coaches have taken the players to the hospital. Riley featured the video of the Scecina players with Julia and other children on its Facebook pace.
Hurrle said the coaches decided to take the football players to the hospital to practice Christian service and giving back as well as to give them some perspective about their own lives.
