In just their second competitive season, the Crusader gymnastics program has doubled in size, adding two new gymnasts and a student manager to their ranks. Returning to lead the team are Mary O’Connor '17 and Molly Griffin '18, who played an integral part in bringing gymnastics to Scecina for the first time during the 2014-15 school year. Newcomers Peyton Egan and Bridget Delaney, both seniors, have added depth and experience to the team. Rounding out the roster is student manager Maggie Mayer '16, who makes sure the girls have everything they need to be successful. She also assists Coaches Anne O’Connor and Elaine O’Brian with score keeping and other duties during the gymnastics meets.

On Tuesday, January 26, the Crusaders competed against the New Palestine Dragons and the Morristown Yellow Jackets. Scecina placed 2nd in the team competition, with many of the gymnasts scoring in the top three in individual events.
