  • Campus Crusade 2018 is a success – Scecina goes global

    Scecina students and staff competed in the annual Campus Crusade walkathon on May 4. As always, the walk aimed to raise money for Scecina ministries: need-based tuition assistance, academics, care of campus (facilities), student life (clubs and athletics), and campus ministry. 

    The new twist this year was to reach out to the wider community and share the gifts raised through Campus Crusade. The chosen charity was Catholic Relief Services, and through the fundraising efforts of students and staff, Scecina raised $1,000 for CRS, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.   • Scecina partners with community leaders on Emerson Streetscape project

    Scecina Memorial High School President Joe Therber, Community Health Network leaders, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and several other Eastside community leaders stood together on May 20 to cut the ribbon on a project that significantly improves a busy Emerson Avenue from 16th Street to 21st Street.
