Scecina modernizes 24 classrooms

Scecina’s summer project to modernize 24 classrooms was a big undertaking. Thanks to generous donors, more than $400,000 was raised to for new ceilings and floors, paint, electrical service, windows, blinds, dry erase boards, and air conditioning units.

The completed classrooms now are full of students and teachers, desks and computers.

Scecina is hosting a special viewing for those who helped make this project a reality.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 27, for refreshments and appetizers from 5 to 7 p.m. The viewing of other renovations made in the past several years will be included in the tour.

Please RSVP by Monday, September 25 to rbranson@scecina.org or by phone 317-356-6377 ext. 1319.

If you are not able to attend, but would like a tour, please do not hesitate to contact Rose Branson to schedule another time.

Below are before and after photographs of one of the updated classrooms.
