Academic Honors: Scecina Scholar Athlete (2016)
Although she has only been at Scecina for one year, Sophomore Tori Hunt has wasted no time making her mark on the Crusader Community. She has excelled academically, earning a 3.81 grade point average. She also participated in the cheerleading program, rooting on the freshman, JV and varsity basketball teams this winter.
Tori feels that service oriented co-curricular activities at Scecina have had the biggest impact on her successful school year. “At Scecina I have had the opportunity to join school clubs. I have participated in Key Club and the Baking Club” Tori says. “I am passionate about helping others. Key Club has allowed me to become more involved in my community. The baking club allows me to do what I love and give back to others.”
Tori plans to continue her involvement in the Crusader Community during her junior year at Scecina. She was recently elected as the junior class representative for the Key Club. She also plans to utilize the education and values she has gained at Scecina to crusade for the Pro-Life Movement. After High School Tori wants to attend the University of Evansville, although she is undecided on a major.
Tori is the daughter of Timothy and Courtney Hunt. Timothy works in human resources at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Courtney is a social worker.
