Scecina Memorial High School strives to maintain affordable tuition levels for our families. We are committed to providing tuition assistance to more than 60 percent of our families through our school advancement efforts. Each year, through the generosity of our benefactors, attending Scecina Memorial becomes a reality for students who would otherwise not be able to obtain a Catholic, college preparatory education.

The Scecina Memorial High School Board of Directors reviews tuition levels annually. Scecina Memorial consistently offers one of the most competitive, value-added tuition rates in the Indianapolis area.  Reflecting the role of East Deanery parishes in subsidizing our Catholic students' education, we offer three tuition categories. These rates pertain to the 2016-2017 school year, 2017-2018 rates will be released in late spring.

Participating Catholic: This tuition category applies to families who are registered with a Catholic parish, attend Mass regularly, and support the parish through tithing. Each year, the Scecina Memorial Tuition Office confirms a family's status with the parish. If you have questions about whether you are listed as a Participating Catholic at your parish, please contact the parish directly. 

The 2016-2017 Participating Catholic Rate: $8,840

Non-Catholic/Catholic Educated: This category applies to non-Catholic families who have enrolled their child in a Catholic grade school or Scecina Memorial for at least one year prior to the year they are enrolling or re-enrolling at Scecina Memorial High School. 

The 2016-2017 Non-Catholic/Catholic Educated Rate$11,105

 Non-Catholic: This category applies to families who are not Catholic and whose child was not enrolled in a Catholic grade school in the year prior to enrolling at Scecina Memorial. 

The 2016-2017 Non-Catholic Rate: $11,835

Need-Based Tuition Assistance

Scecina Memorial will be working with FACTS Management in 2017/18 to award assistance based on verified family need. Financial assistance awards are determined in late April, followed by notifications in mid-May. Applications are due March 15, 2017, for first round of awards.

You may now apply for tuition assistance online by using the link below. By using this link you can fill out the application, pay the fee to FACTS Management and upload your supporting documentation. When you follow the link, you will first see the step by step instructions for making the application. Please follow the instructions to complete the process. If you are unable to upload the documents, you can still apply on-line and then fax or mail the supporting documentation to FACTS after you have completed the online application. Or you can make an appointment with Natalie Noel or Ivette Clinger for assistance. Mrs. Clinger can especially assist Spanish speaking families.

The on-line processing fee is $27. The priority deadline for applying for tuition assistance is March 15, 2017. Applications may be still be submitted after March 15, 2017, but tuition assistance awards will be delayed.

The Tuition Office plans to install a computer for family use if you need access to a computer and the internet. We hope to have this available in February 2017.

Online Tuition Assistance Application

Before beginning your tuition assistance application, please gather all of your family and financial information, including your 2016 federal tax return, W-2’s, 1099’s, student birthdates and social security numbers, information regarding other income such as social security statements, public assistance benefits, bank account, retirement account, and investment account information, car payments, house or rent payments, etc. 



Free/Reduced Lunch and Breakfast

Children need healthy meals to learn. Scecina Memorial High School offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.75; lunch costs $3. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Reduced price is 30 cents for breakfast and 40 cents for lunch. This packet includes an application, instructions and more information about the free/reduced meals.
