Selective Service (Draft) and Voter Registration
Mr. Smith will again be conducting selective service (draft) registration and voter registration this year. This is a free service provided to students and community members that are in need of registration. Voter registration is open to all legal US Citizens 18 and above with a valid state issued photo ID (i.e. Driver’s License).
Selective Service is required for all males over the age of 18. Penalties for not registering for Selective Service can include loss of all federal and state financial aid, felony charge, $250,000 fine, and 5 years imprisonment. Registration takes less than two minutes, and only requires a social security number. Anyone interested may speak to Mr. Smith in room 217, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
