Siblings Stand Out On National French Exam

Le Grand Concours, or the National French Contest, is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes.

This past spring, several Scecina Memorial students participated in Le Grand Concours, and two Crusaders finished in the top ten at both the State and National levels!

The brother and sister duo of Cedric ‘17 and Sabrina ‘15 Georges led a group of 11 Crusaders who were recognized for their performance on this annual test.
