
Scecina students and staff competed in the annual Campus Crusade walkathon on May 4. As always, the walk aimed to raise money for Scecina ministries: need-based tuition assistance, academics, care of campus (facilities), student life (clubs and athletics), and campus ministry.
The new twist this year was to reach out to the wider community and share the gifts raised through Campus Crusade. The chosen charity was Catholic Relief Services, and through the fundraising efforts of students and staff, Scecina raised $1,000 for CRS, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
