Senior Brandon Schroedle has accomplished a great deal during his days at Scecina. He is the captain of the 2015 Sectional Championship football team, Senior Class President, and an officer in the Key Club. Yet Brandon says, “I think most of my classmates would be surprised to know that I am smart.”

Although he is well known for his athletic prowess, Brandon is equally accomplished in the classroom. He has maintained a 4.03 grade point average during his high school career. His academic accomplishments are numerous, including the 2016 President’s Academic Excellence Award.

He hopes to continue his education at either Purdue University or the University of Kentucky. Brandon is undecided on his field of study but is considering business or science.

Outside the classroom, Brandon is passionate about athletics. He is grateful for the opportunity to compete for the Crusaders. “I have been able to play the sports I love and make lifelong friends,” he says. Brandon faced his biggest challenge when a torn ACL put him on the sidelines. But through dedication to the recovery process, and commitment to his teammates, Brandon was able to return to action.

Brandon is the son of Pete and Karen Schroedle. His brother Adam graduated from Scecina in 2014, and his sister Christina is a member of the Class of 2019.
