Scecina Memorial High School strives to maintain affordable tuition levels for our families. We are committed to providing tuition assistance to more than 60 percent of our families through our school advancement efforts. Each year, through the generosity of our benefactors, attending Scecina Memorial becomes a reality for students who would otherwise not be able to obtain a Catholic, college preparatory education.

The Scecina Memorial High School Board of Directors reviews tuition levels annually. Scecina Memorial consistently offers one of the most competitive, value-added tuition rates in the Indianapolis area.  Reflecting the role of East Deanery parishes in subsidizing our Catholic students' education, we offer three tuition categories.

Participating Catholic: This tuition category applies to families who are registered with a Catholic parish, attend Mass regularly, and support the parish through tithing. Each year, the Scecina Memorial Tuition Office confirms a family's status with the parish. If you have questions about whether you are listed as a Participating Catholic at your parish, please contact the parish directly. 

The 2018-2019 Participating Catholic Rate: $9,550

Non-Catholic/Catholic Educated: This category applies to non-Catholic families who have enrolled their child in a Catholic grade school or Scecina Memorial for at least one year prior to the year they are enrolling or re-enrolling at Scecina Memorial High School. 

The 2018-2019 Non-Catholic/Catholic Educated Rate$12,000

Non-Catholic: This category applies to families who are not Catholic and whose child was not enrolled in a Catholic grade school in the year prior to enrolling at Scecina Memorial. 

The 2018-2019 Non-Catholic Rate: $12,800

Multiple-student discount
2 students: $1,070 discount per student in family
3 or more students: $3,040 discount per student in family

Registration Fees

An annual registration fee of $250 is required for each family who is enrolling a student at Scecina. The annual family registration fee will be discounted for $125 if:

  • Families pay the registration fee and
  • Successfully submit a completed financial aid application or financial aid waiver by March 16, 2018.

You will be able to make this payment online when you log into your SchoolAdmin account

Families who will not be applying for Tuition Assistance for the 2018-2019 school year should complete the Financial Aid Waiver form, which can found on the Enrollment Checklist in SchoolAdmin.

There also is a Senior Fee of $200 for seniors to partially cover expenses of senior retreat, graduation cap and gown, and other graduation expenses.

Need-Based Tuition Assistance

Scecina is working with FACTS Management for 2018-19 to award assistance based on verified family need. Financial assistance awards are determined in late April, followed by notifications in mid-May. Applications are due March 16, 2018, for first round of awards. Applications may be be submitted after March 16, 2018, but tuition assistance awards will be delayed and the discounted registration fee of $125 will not be applicable.

By using this link you can fill out the application, pay the fee to FACTS Management of $27 and upload your supporting documentation. Before beginning your tuition assistance application, please gather all family and financial information, including 2017 federal tax return, W-2, 1099, student birthdates, information regarding other income such as social security statements, public assistance benefits, bank account, retirement account, and investment account information, car payments, house or rent payments, etc. 

When you follow the link, you will see step by step instructions for submitting the application. The Tuition Office staff is available to assist you if you need help. A new computer was just installed in the Tuition Office for families to use. You can make an appointment with Natalie Noel at 317-352-3262 or Ivette Clinger at 317-352-3224 for assistance. Mrs. Clinger can especially assist Spanish speaking families.

Children need healthy meals to learn. Scecina Memorial High School offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.75; lunch costs $3. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Please use these forms:
