A Ministry of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis

Scecina Memorial High School is a proud ministry of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis, which serves the faithful across central and southern Indiana. The Archdiocese includes:

  • 125 parishes
  • 68 Catholic schools
  • 5 Catholic Charities agencies
  • Numerous ministries that support spiritual, educational, and social service missions

Scecina was established by the Archbishop of Indianapolis to provide a faith-filled, academically strong education grounded in Catholic values. We remain deeply connected to the Archdiocese through our mission, leadership, and community.

The current Archbishop of Indianapolis is the Most Rev. Charles C. Thompson, who was appointed by Pope Francis in 2017. Archbishop Thompson continues to lead the Archdiocese with a focus on evangelization, Catholic education, and service to others.
