School Counseling Department

The School Counseling Department supports the whole student: academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Counselors work closely with students and families from freshman year through graduation, helping each student navigate high school and prepare for the future.

Academic and Personal Growth

Counselors assist with course selection, including college prep, honors, and AP options. They also help students improve study habits, manage time effectively, and strengthen test-taking skills. Support is available for academic challenges as well as personal development.

College and Career Planning

From exploring career interests to completing college applications, students receive personalized support throughout high school. Services include:

  • College and career advising
  • SAT and ACT preparation and planning
  • Guidance for college essays and applications
  • Financial aid and FAFSA assistance
  • Scholarship search support

Real-World Readiness

The department organizes programs that help students make informed decisions and prepare for life after high school, including:

  • College planning nights
  • Financial aid workshops
  • Career panels with industry professionals
  • On-campus visits from college representatives

Counselors are dedicated to helping each student build a strong foundation, discover their goals, and create a path toward a meaningful future.
